If you live in the North Island , choosing one of  the cylinders models starting  with  the code  " H "  do have lower freight charges,  in most cases the freight charge is around $35 to most destinations in the North Island.  For South Island orders please ask us for a qoute.

Mains Pressure Stainless Steel cylinders starting with the code  (H-MPSS)  have been pressure tested to 15 bar .

Element  : Is a  Long -life Superloy 825 alloy sheathed element, incoperated into an easily removable plate, should replacement be necessary

Thermostat : Full immersion style thermostat, adjustable temperature, fitted with enery cut out.

Outer casting : 0.55 Galvanised Steel

Thermal insulation : 50mm cfc-free polyurethane foam, compliant with  NZ MEPS standard

Inner tank : Duplex 2304 (grade 1, 4362 EN 10088) Stainless Steel

Safety Features: All models temperature and pressure relief valves  factory set at 850kpa and 90°C.   Manually resettable cut-out , set at 85°C.

Anode : Not required

Approvals :  Manufactured to meet MEPS standards.  Manufactured in an ISO9001:2000 registered factory.

Warranty 10 years on mains pressure cylinders, 5 years on low pressure cylinders.

Cylinders where the code starts with an "S"  are delivered free of charge to  "main" destinations in the South Island. You can either collect them from the main depot there, or you could get them delivered (a small delivery charge applies).  If you require a "S" type hot water cylinder in the North Island, a freight charge applies.   Please ask us for a quote.

Are made from Marine Grade 316 Stainless steel, this means the cylinders can withstand higher temperatures from uncontrolled heat sources such as solar or wetback without damage to the cylinders.  Anodes are not required for stainless steel cylinders.

The cylinders can be orderd with wetback coils or solar heating coils.  The standard coil length is 10m of 25mm coil, which has a heat transfer of approxamatley 12kW per hour.  Combinations of coils can be specified, for example solar coil plus wetback/boiler coil plus underfloor heating coil.  Heat exchangers can be fitted into horizontal cylinders for pumped boiler and solar systems.  The cylinders have an auto-reset thermostat which does not have to be manually reset when the solar or wetback heats the cylinder above its normal electrical heating range.  The 'S' range of cylinders are built to the New Zealand Standard NZS4606 and comply with the MEPS regulations for energy efficiency and heat loss. Warranty on mains pressure cylinders is 7 years and on low pressure cylinders is 5 years.
